It was great last night as
SSSonja pictured above asked me along for Steve's party at Kobe's magnificent Japanese
restaurant in downtown Vancouver. It was a great time, SSSonja was humorous as
ever, she of course still looks stunning while some of her Cwoc friends were
also amazing. The food and the whole experience in this restaurant was
outstanding. Kobe can not only play NBA very well he knows how to own a great
restaurant. I wish I had my video camera because as mentioned SSSonja was very
humorous. It would have been a great MYKwebTV show.

Moose's NBA preview! Outlook: The NBA heads into it’s 60th
year and parity will rule. That’ll be good for
teams, that have never: (a) made the Championship before, or (b) have never done
much
in the playoffs, in both cases, the L.A. Clippers. The Clippers are overdue for
a breakout
season, and after having gotten rid of inconsistent Marko Jaric (pronouce it
‘Jere – IC’)
on the T’wolves (desperate to replace the injured [heart aoperation] and out
for the
year Fred Hoiberg, who like Eric Piatkowski, who they tried but were unable to
pry from the Bulls, played one year of college football at the University of
Nebraska.
Hoiberg may have only averaged 5.8 points per game last year because of a lack
of minutes on the court but he was third in the NBA in three point goals.
So long
Fred, if you don’t come back, you were a real good player!
Piatkowski is still part
of a very good bench in Chi-town. The Bulls are still a full year away from con-
Tending. The Clipper have made many good moves in the offseason, and Coach
Dunleavy has already lead L.A. (that other NBA bunch from across town), to the
Finals before. But Mike; what’s with this Russian guy, who has only played
basketball for a couple years, and used to play hockey!@? I guess Dunleavy
thinks he’s good in the

Saw an excellent game from Staples Centre last Friday night

by 4 points, after having lead by as many as

both L.A. Centres, the Clips never trailed in the game.
In

NBA
Update: Clippers on pace to reach playoffs - Win City Series v. crosstown
Lakers!
The
Los Angeles Clippers may have won only 27 games this injury-riddled season,
but they beat the Lakers for the
third time this year, assuring them of a winning season
in the City Series v. the Lakers, for the first time since the franchise moved
to L.A. in 1984, from San Diego.
Lead
by the balanced scoring of the starting five: Elton Brand (22 pts./15 rebs.),
Corey Maggette (30), Chris Kaman
(12), Bobby Simmons (16) and point guard Rick
Brunson (10), the Clippers whipped the Lakers, 110-101.
Kobe Bryant, who hit for 40 in the game, gave the Lakers the lead, 28-25,
with a three point shot at the
end of the first quarter. Simmons returned the
favor with the first shot of the second quarter and the Clippers never looked
back, opening a 21 point lead in the fourth. Early in the fourth quarter,
things got physical as ex-Clipper Lamar Odom squared off with Brand
and got bounced for unleashing an unsuccessful left at Elton. He
was ejected and his replacement, Luke Walton, son of NBA Hall-of-Famer Bill
Walton, could find no answer to stop Brand and the Clippers.
The Clippers had home court advantage and a record crowd of
18, 225 on hand to watch the Shaq-less Lakers get run out of the building
despite Kobe's outstanding game.
As
the playoffs come into view, the Clippers have now an important tie-breaker
should they and the Lakers tie for the eighth and final playoff
spot in the West.
The
playoff picture looks right now, like this:
Division
Leaders: East: Boston,
Miami and Detroit, the defending Champs.
West:
San Antonio, Seattle and
Phoenix.
Others
still in the hunt, with at least 27 wins include: New
Jersey, Washington, Orlando, Cleveland, Chicago, Indiana,
Dallas, Houston, Memphis, Denver, Minnesota, Sacramento
and both Los Angeles teams, Clippers and Lakers."

The Clippers however still hold a one game lead on the Lakers for a tie for

The
Clippers are tied with Sacramento for second behind streaking Phoenix with
new point guard Steve (Canadian Flash) Nash. The Lakers are fourth

The
Clips have been bolstered by the return of last season's Centre oF (NON) attention,
Chris Kaman. The 7-footer is a better athlete than some people think.
I'd take him or Mihm over (bad big
toe, three second violation) [Radio] Shaq anyday
of the year! The Bulls have now won tow of their last three games since
moving excellent free-throw shooter and ex-Clipper Eric Piatkowski to 7th

the last couple outings. The fans
have been lukewarm to Eric since the big trade
with the Rockets, but trying to play him in Michael Jordan's spot in the

NBA! It was a disgrace by the Pacer Players! Moose's report" Myk Aussie
It
was an absolute disgrace by the Pacer players. That's all I'm saying on this.
Moose's report.
"The
Clipper have all of a sudden gotten cold and lost 3 of the last four
games in O.T. - and - gasp! - fallen behind their cross-town rivals the
L.A. Lakers after the Lakers beat them Saturday, 103-96. Eric Piatkowski
continues to play well for his new team, the Chicago Bulls, but
they are still winless, at 0-9, setting a new franchise low. Bring back
Jordan for a third time? Now, on to the suspensions laid out by CURRENT
Commissioner Dave Stern-gang. They aren't enough and in
one case too much! How does Big Ben Wallace, from here at VA. St.
in Virginia deserve 6 games off without pay, when he was defending himself
from an obviously flagrant foul? One game maybe, but the NBA rule
book says that if you unleash a punch at a teammate, opponent, ref,
coach or fan, you get suspended. He didn't hit anybody! After getting
a cheap foul from Ron Artest, easily the dirtiest player in the loop,
Wallace charged Artest, cuffed him around the neck and pushed him.
So? Wallace being smart enough to know that he would be suspended if he hit
Artest, so he didn't. Case should have been closed.
But
big mouth Artest (who made derogatory comments about my buddy
from the University of Virginia, Coach Rick Carlisle last year) had to
cuss at Wallace too. Wallace charged after Artest, who laid down on
the scorers table. If I were a fan, I'd have thrown my beer at him too.
I don't go to NBA games to watch fights or see spoiled millionaire athletes
sit or lay down on scorers tables! Suspending this punk for one year,
Mr. Stern, is too little after he goes berserk and charges in the stands
punching fans at random! Ditto for mealy-mouthed punks like Al
Harrington and Steve Jackson, too. All three should be thrown out of
the NBA for life! As much as I dislike Pete Rose and his gambling on baseball,
this was much worse. But Ben Wallace didn't even ball up a fist. He
knew better. But he gets a six game without pay suspension. Bull-bleep! That's
what that is. Let's get a new Commissioner for this game!" Moose

Los Angeles Clippers sit atop the Pacific Division and start the season 1-0

The Clips were lead by F El
Brand's 21 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists & G/F Corey Maggette's 18 points
and 6 assists. The Utah Jazz hammered the Lakers, the Clips crosstown rivals,
104-78 on Matt Harpring's 23 points. Kobe Bryant had a solid 38 points in the
fLakers loss.
Other scores from Thursday and Friday last week: Portland 76, Golden St (for
those who new to the NBA or just 'mal-adjusted', Okalnad is where Golden St.
plays), 75 Phoenix 112, Atlanta 82 Washington 103, Carolina 96 Miami 92,
Cleveland 86.

1st game against the Houston Rockets in Toronto! Let's hope he stays fit and
gets his head focused this year for Canada's team! New NBA Online website!"
Myk Aussie
Unreal,
Vince is still with the Raptor even after all the off season trade rumors and
his mum getting upset at loosing her VIP car park at Maple Leaf Place! I think
it is good news Vince Jimmy is still a Raptor as long as he is not a cry baby
this year and realizes that his now number 40+ ranking according to one NBA
Sports publication that came out this week is probably somewhat true. Why do I
sort of agree with this 40+ top player ranking? He misses way to many games with
soft injuries but can he play when he "wants to". Good luck to
the Raptors lead by Vince "Jimmy" Carter this year.
NBA
Sports mates check out this new site that Ashley advised me about this week and

Good

Ashley's mates on here I am pro Lakers while Moose is anti Lakers and Pro

First
game(s) Notes: The Lakers
were powered by great new Centre Chris Mihm who came over in
a trade with Cleveland. Mihm had 23 points, 12 rebounds. Who needs Shaq
(bad big toe) O'Neal, who can't even spell his first name right?
Ex-L.A.
Clipper Lamar (Lefty) Odom added
13 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 points & 2 blks. Kobe
Bryant shot a dismal 5 of 14 FGs and had four turnovers, as Denver was
able to stay close most of the way. In Dallas, who I pick to go all the way
this yr., opener Dirk Nowitski, the polish prince from Germany had 33 points.
Centre Brad Miller paced Sacramento with 24 points. Detroit, the de- fending
Champs, won also." Moose

make the playoffs too. Can you imagine the pressure on that guy filling Michael

Sat, Oct 2 04 "Shaq
and Kobe are still at each other! ABC's Uncle Frank takes to the LA
streets!
Even
though Shaq has left LA for Miami he and Kobe are still at each other. It was
reported this week Kobe accuses Shaq of paying up to 1 million $$$ for his
flings to keep their Not Cwoa mouths shut! Wow! ie the women Shaq is reported to
have touched up over the years.
Uncle
Frank last night took to the LA streets on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk to
the NBA loving LA people. Many will always love Shaq the massive fella even
though he is now in Miami. I do remember awhile back Shaq said on US radio he
had sex with super star model Cindy Crawford. He then had to say it wasn't true
after Cindy who was recently newly married at the time her and her management
went MAD at the Big fella.
Keep reading below for my comedy style extensive
coverage of the Kobe Court Case over the past year. I was promised a guest
appearance in Feb this year on this great late night show with Jimmy Kimmel. I
was backstage so hopefully "the promise" does eventuate this NFL
season. Jimmy, Doug and John from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live will all be receiving
my movie on DVD very soon. I was told Jimmy loves my Sports comedy.

After

the alleged Sexual Assault/Rape Case against Kobe was today thrown out of court.
Think of the 100,000's if not million $$ wasted! The Media frenzy was Crazy!
Apparently there was "rough sex" involved but Wow what another American circus it
has been. I really do hope you read below over the past year as I have talked
about this many times in a Comedy and HARDBall format and talked about it on
SportsRage Montreal and Internet radio.
I even got close to meeting Katie the victim in
Calgary last year as she was out and about in the nightclubs with her friend a
Calgary resident it was reported in the Calgary newspaper! Seriously! Kobe was amazing in the Playoffs after appearing
in Court many times during the day and then playing at night. Keep reading
