"One may ask why 'missing'? Good question. Since the Grey Cup goes back to 1909 when (Rugby-)Football divorced itself from just 'Rugby' and became a new game, Only those registered with the IRFU could contend for the Grey Cup, they didn't keep official records. But two guys who have done extensive research in Ontario into the history of Football in Canada used to publish the 'Unofficial Canadian Football Fact and Record Book.' I say used to since the last addition for sale from the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum was the 2001 Edition. They must not have made enough money and did waste their time putting Canadian Rugby stats all the way back to 1872 inside this volume as well, which we should not worry ourselves with. On the Canadian Football Leagues official site they only have CFL standings back to 1936. Thus this attempt at veritas, at this late stage of the proceedings. I hope to give a more complete picture by presenting the findings of the two independent researchers from Ontario and so here are the 'unofficial' CFL standings and stats from 1909 to 1935 coming" Moose
