week 7 scores, report! Week 8 picks!" Moose
Scores:
Spokane 68, Central Valley 34
Stockton 49, Bakersfield 42
Amarillo 35, Rio Grande Valley 28
Manchester 79, Florida 62
Tennessee Valley 21, Birmingham 17 [third lowest scroing game in Af2 history!]

Memphis 67, Shreveport-Bossier City 32
Oklahoma City 63, South Georgia 33
Wilkes-Barre / Scranton 28, Macon 23
Fayetteville 59, Palm Beach 20
You can tell if you keep track of the scores every week in these columns on Af2
that scoring averages continues to go down each year. I remember the entire
staff of Greensboro being 'cacked' after they got outscored 103-3 (!!) by Quad
City in season one of Af2, 2000. Two years later there was a Roanoke loss, 14-7
here in Virginia, the still lowest scoring game in League history. Myk Aussie is
at the opening of the CFL camp in Calgary today.
That's ironic because the last time I went to Calgary practices with Myk, back
in '03, they had Kevin Feterik as one of their QBs. They also had Larry Phillips
at RB, who is in jail (again) now. Feterik was released late in the year and has
been in Af2 since. He's been with three teams since his CFL days and this week,
with expansion Stockton, Coached by ex-Richmond ArenaCup Coach, he's player
number one!:
Game Balls:
1) QB Kevin Feterik, expansion Stockton Lightning, now 3-0 as starter.
2) WR/LB Chavis McCollister, Arkansas
3) OS Boris (Magic) Benton, Florida in a loss. Simply the best in the League at
his position. Has helped Florida get into two ArenaCups, so far.
4) WR/DB Troy Graham, Quad City, in a loss. I don't know how Coach Rick Frazier
and Quad City keep coming up with these kind of players, but keep it going
ex-Norfolk Nighthawk Coach Rick.
5) DS Ronnie Kaymore, Green Bay, who beat Quad City fridee night!
Week Eight Picks:
Memphis OVER Amarillo
Stockton OVER Everett
Central Valley OVER Bakersfield
Quad City OVER Spokane
Louisville OVER Tennessee Valley
Shreveport-Bossier City (and beleagured Coach Johnny Fourcade) OVER Oklahoma
City [hey - they gotta win one. Remember the Owner Dan Newman, who I meet at the
ArenaCup6 last year said, no winning season, he'll refund the season ticket
holders money!
Get ready for ArenaCup7 @ CenturyTel Arena again this Aug., accodring to the
Director of Media, who may be on the way out!]
Arkansas OVER Tulsa
Birmingham OVER Macon
Florida OVER South Georgia
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton OVER Manchester

Reporter S.Baxter in New Jersey
this weekend to cover the NBA and NHL for MYKwebWORLD. It is looking more like
Arkansas and Oklahoma City (Der Yard Dawgz) are going to be the teams to be.
They both have excellent EX-Ar.FL Coaches in John Gregory and Bob Cortese,
respectfully. Little Kevin F-Troop Feterik has won two games in-a-row for the
expansion Stockton Lightning, who sent me a hat recently. A comeback? Perhaps.
