NFL Week four Notes - How about them Colts to break a streak of haven't
beaten the Saints in New Orleans in 34 years. Manning became the first QB
to throw six TDs in an NFL game since the Canadian Mark Rypien with
Washington in 1991. I still say Marvin Harrison is the most consistent
therefore the best WR in the NFL. Sorry Randy Moss, and "hissy-fit"
throwing Terrell Owens and Jerry Rice, who is best of all time!
In other news, six teams remain undefeated. If I had to pick an M.V.P.
right now it would be Chiefs Dante "small" Hall, formerly of
the Scotland Claymores. Three TD on returns already this year. The 48ers
are going to continue to stumble as long as them put up with the
declining, whining T. Owens. Waive this guy loose, Dennis! Canadian WR
Pathon caught a TD for the Saints in the late game last night, and former
CFLers: Trent Green, Marc Boerigter, Joe Horn, Mike Vandejagt, Jeff
Garcia (all things considered) all played well yesterday. Former
Arena-leaguers Tommy Maddox, Mike Furrey, Kevin Kaesviharn and Vanderjagt
also did a solid job yesterday. Hula Bowl '03 update: WR Kasim Osgood got
his 1st NFL start for suspended WR David Boston with Chargers yesterday.
Osgood almost ran me and mykaussie over at the 57th Hula Bowl in Maui
back in Feb. - twice! Once each on both sides of the field. Way to go,
kid.
Parcell's guys jumped another hurdle in the geographically incorrect NFC
East with by beating his 2nd former N.Y. team yesterday. Earth to Marty:
bench Brew Drees now, while you have a chance to still make the playoffs.
I know he caught a TD yesterday but gaget plays aren't going to help his
inconsistencies. You also should have kept Dave Dickenson, who's tearing
the CFL up! Back to the drawing board Darren Bennett and Co. Look for the
Eagles to rip out four or five wins in the next couple weeks. Picks to

after accidentally punching the umpire! The Bronco's hammer the Oakland Raiders

Smith threw a punch last night at a Raiders player but unfortunately hit
the referee right in the face. Wow! Bronco's are my favorite team and Rod
Smith was the friendliest Bronco I met when I interviewed the players for
MYKwebTV two years ago.
Just as well the NFL don't go by AFL, Australian Rules Football in
regards to hitting an official, accident or not. CFL Eskimo's star Ed
Hervey got a one game suspension three weeks ago for accidentally smacking
a referee with his helmet. What will the NFL do in regards to one of my favorite
NFL Players "accidentally" punching a Black & White Magpie
last night ?
The Bronco's were way to good last night hammering the 2002 Super
Bowl runner ups. Jake Plummer the new Bronco's QB in his 1st home game
played excellent. Star Running Back Clinton Portis again looked great.
Wide Receiver and former Uni of Hawaii Ashley Lelie had two touchdowns
but nearly celebrated too early as he pranced to the end zone. The
Bronco's defense was awesome.

the biggest news is the NFL owners overwhelmingly approved the bill to
keep NFL (AAA) Europe afloat for another two years. Good news to a lot of
borderline players who may be switching positions. Speaking of switching
positions, two twins from my home state of Virginia, Tiki and Ronde
Barber did just that at the University of Virginia and have been starters
in the NFL since being drafted. Way to go guys! "What happened,
Coach ballgame?", Department: Can you believe Washington coach Steve
Spurrier actually won the overtime coin toss v. the Jersey Giants and
then elected to kick off! Needless to say the Giants went down the field
in four plays and then kicked the winning field goal! Myk's boy
Shockey, still bitter Cowboys' Parcells took his boy, TE Dan Campbell
away, made several big plays during the Giants overtime. Is Parcells
still 'a homo' Shock-jock?

Chargers Marty Schottenheimer, please start Doug Flutie before your team
sinks any lower (now 0-3)!! Kelly Holcomb saved his starting job for
another week by beating the 48ers in the final minute, 13-12. How about
Emmitt Smith, Jeff Blake and the Arizona Cardinals beating Brett Favre
and the Packers. Hate to brag, but I picked it! Mykaussie did much better
than me in picks this weekend as I was jet-lagged from the flight from
Virginia! 3-0 Seattle toyed with the Marc Bulger lead Rams until the end
of the game in Seattle's fantastic Stadium before putting the Rams to
sleep, 24-23. Myk recons our mate Shaun Alexander is a bit soft for
missing the start of the 'Hawks game to be with his wife as she gave
birth to their first child, a daughter, Haven.
Emmitt Watch: Smith now has 58 carries for 168 yards, slightly off the
average needed to get another 1,000 this season. Speaking of being ON

Lewis of the Ravens now has 500 yards in the first 3 games. Ex-Arena
players: Pittsburgh's Tommy Maddox executed a great fake field goal pass
play to break open a tight game v. Kitna's Bungals. The Rams have ex-arenaball

NFL Week Two Notes: Like I said last week upon making my picks, I thought Tampa
would lose to Carolina. The Panthers are a whole different team with Jake (the
snake) Delhomme at QB!! This team is one to watch the rest of the year! They
should start carving this kid's bust in Canton, Ohio right now! He's a winner.
Speaking of winners, how about Drew Bledsoe & the Bills? This is the team to
watch in the AFC. Greg Williams may be trying for coach of the year.
Congratulations to Jeff Wilkens & the Rams! Now put Kurt Warner-ball back in
the lineup, & I'll get back on the bandwagon.
How about Jamal Lewis record setting 295 yard rushing day for the Ravens? Coach
Billick's guys right back in the race. Way to go Jamal! Take that Jim Brown, you
phony! The Pack is back, too. I predict it will be either Green Bay or Tampa Bay
in the Bowl v. either Kansas City or Denver. But like I said don't count
Carolina or Buffalo out just yet. Aaron Brooks played like his career might have
been on the line & so did his coach. Saints needed that win badly after
losing 4 of their last 6 going back to last season. Bad outing for two good

Great complete game by Coach Vermiel's Chiefs. This team will be great, I
believe. Message to Mike Shanahan: Forget about Plummer & stay with Steve
Beuerlein! The two QB system won't work! How about those Seahawks! What a win.
Along with Carolina, another dark-horse team to watch in the NFC. Emmitt Watch:
Arizona, RB Smith now with 28 carries on the season for 118 yds. Not bad, but
what has happened to the 'D'? Giving up 80 points in two weeks is not going
to keep that good coach you have employed! Jacksonville's going to have to
run Chris Fuamatu-mA'afala with the ball. Everybody else looks like they are
running in quick (or is it slow?!) sand. Good game two weeks in a row by
