Fri, Aug 20 04 "Aussies are kicking butt in the Olympics! Was it a SportsRager that dived off the diving board in a Pink skirt? CDN Simon Whitfield Triathlon 2000 Gold Medallist MYKwebTV! CFL Rd 10 is on and as always the Total-CFL.com Discussion is fired up!

Below is some of my call. I had a great mid week spot Wednesday night on SportsRage with Gabriel Morency. We talked lots of Olympics mainly on how the Aussie are kicking butt while the Canadians are going bad.

Morency reckons there are way to many Canadian kids playing video games, fat and not playing enough sport. Every kid in Australia plays sport except for maybe one really fat kid in every 100. We talked about Ian Thorpe being a absolute legend and I mentioned how his size 17 feet are like a extra paddle.

The fact that China has near on 1 billion people, US 260 million while Australia has 18 million shows the great achievement by Australia. It's a tough slog for the young swimmers who train 5-8am every morning, then go to high school or college and then they are back in the pool from 5-8pm at night. Good on every person that makes it to the elite of swimming they deserve every bit of fame out there.

As Morency rips into the Canadian Government for not putting enough money up I mentioned how it's a disgrace how 3 times now they have been to court already on the NHL Hockey Todd Bertuzzi Assault charge probably already spending $50,000 that should have gone to the athletes. How much will then spend on this joke court case? Although we are not great in Athletics due to pure numbers of people in other countries Australia is still a big chance in men's and ladies Field hockey, triathlon and Basketball and in men's cycling.

The diver from the crowd in the Pink skirt that jumped off the board was from Montreal I saw today. I bet he was a SportsRager! It wasn't MADness although he would do that.

This is how I ended my as usual Wild calls to the best Sports Radio show in the World. "Morency do you know why the Canadians didn't win many medals in Sydney 2000? See they all rolled up to Sydney in their beautiful Red and White Roots outfits. Well in Australia a Root is a lay, a Bang, sex. So all the Aussie guys chased the Canadian Babe (Cwoc) athletes while the Aussie Babes (Birds) chased the Canadian Male athletes. Thus the Canadian Athletes all got way to much attention and "Roots" thus no medals!!!! Good luck to China, Japan and all the Asian countries especially as now in Vancouver I meet many great and beautiful Chinese, Japanese, Korean ladies. The secret is Treat them nice, twice the rice. See ya lata guys"

After some hopeful news several weeks ago in regards to me being involved in broadcasting from Athens with a Texas based TV show in the end I didn't make it to Athens. It was a magnificent day at UBC's Thunderbird stadium as the Calgary Kangaroos combined with the newly formed Red Deer Magpies to defeat the Vancouver Cougars in a great great game of Aussie Rules Footy. The Van Cwoc's even served us up meat pies, just like being at home it was. More to come on the Big day and great night.

The Champ but often injured star CFL Lions QB Dave Dickenson has been a celebrity judge at the unbelievable Fireworks going on the past week in Vancouver. 300,000 people watch. It is amazing. A fella at the Grey Cup 05 media conference was walking in the Gay Pride parade yesterday. It was the Mayor Larry Campbell "supporting" the event in a kilt. A Lions fan from Fan Fest was also in the event so I suppose some gays like watching the footy players in tight pants. Several sporting organizations were marching being very very Gay including the Vancouver Gay Roller Hockey Club, the English Bay swimming club, the Gay Volleyball Ass, oops I better not abbreviate that one I mean Association and the Maball Baseball league with the Dykes having Baseballs painted on their titties.

I laughed me head off for 2 hours watching! Never seen anything like it ever before! Wow there are lots of Gay people in Vancouver! I even had a gay guy email me once as he liked some of the CFL/NFL player footage from my locker room interviews! When I grew up "Gay" was a English word simply meaning "Happy". Seems it means something different these days!
