Shaw, a CDN footy player from the CJFL Calgary Colts needs a new
Heart!!!!!" Myk Aussie
"Dear Myk Aussie; I was
wondering if you could help me get some exposure for this auction and Quebec
junior football on your great web site. Mr. Pistilli is helping me out as I go
to school in the Eastern Townships (Bishops College School and I am in 10th
grade). I'm trying to raise money for Blake Shaw as he needs a new heart."

CFL week 18 report! This weeks tips" Myk Aussie
From
Moose "Only two weeks left of the regular season in Pro Football in the
'Great White North'. The
Calgary Stampeders clinched a playoff spot by QB Henry
Burris beating his team of three of the last six seasons, Saskatchewan,
who I predicted will crossover
and Rep the East v. Montreal in the Eastern Conference Semis.
I did a gig on Morency's Sportsrage
last Thursday a.m. around 2:15. WOW! It's getting later all the
time, but I don't mind. It's good to go all over Canada on the 'Best Damn
Sports talk radio show in the history of Montreal Radio. I understand that our
good mate, Darren Gill is out of the country in NFL Europe right
now, so best wishes to 'Im! Expect Danny Mac to be a backup in Hamilton
next year - if in the League at
all, the way Kevin Eakin is playing now. Nothing against
our mate Marcus Brady, who I really like. And in answer to the poll on cfl.ca,
I expect Brady to open the year at the helm for the Tiger-cats. But that
doesn't mean that Eakin will sit
long.
It didn't take a figitty Coach Greg Marshall to
give Marcus the quick hook several times in favor of retread Khari Jones,
who's been cut by five
CFL teams in the last two seasons, and is probably headed back
to the Ar.FL. If the B.C. Lions are smart, they should stay with exciting
young Casey Printers at pivot. I
love Dave D. I am having my girl at 'SewMax'
hook up a tear on
his jersey now, and plan on wearing it Grey Cup City, if I
ever
get my tickets/e-ticket, et, al mailed to me via Delta Frequent Flyer
miles.
Scores from this weekend:
*Calgary 29, Saskatchewan 21 [Jeff Younger told me in preseason they looked
good...]
*Hamilton 40, Ottawa 32 (Along with young lefty gunslinger in Winnipeg, Russ
Michna,
Hamilton should lock up Eakin for two years. Oh, before I forget, congrats to
Jim
Barker for the G.M. contract extension in Cowtown. Well deserved, brudder!)
B.C. 41, Winnipeg 1 [come on Jim Daley! Start Michna, now! ]
Moose's
Picks for week 19:
Hamilton OVER Toronto (yes, an upset pick. What about it?!)
B.C. OVER Slumping Edmonton (Slumping Saskatchewan has week off)
Montreal OVER Ottawa (poor Joe Paopao!)
Winnipeg OVER Calgary (hey, they've already made the playoffs. What do they
have to play for, after basically (at least) wrapping up third in the CFL
West)" Moose

Moose
and USA, Friends of the CFL Mates I am very close to finalizing a nightly
"Live" yes "Live Internet TV" and Full Screen Total-CFLwebTV/MYKwebTV
broadcast from a downtown Vancouver restaurant and sports bar. I nearly always
finish what I start and I am very confident this will happen! If I can (I'm 90%
there now) finalize this I look forward to interviewing any of the the great USA
fans of the CFL that make the yearly trip to the Grey Cup and want to be on the
TV show along with any Total-CFLers, Lionbackers and other CFL fans. It will be
a 6pm or 8pm start during Grey Cup week and a initial 30 minute show then continuing
each week Friday nights at 8pm Pammy BC Lion time. I can't wait to do this and
promote CFL and it's great fans to the World Live!
I know Moose will enjoy being one of my main co hosts throughout this week.
Let's hope Gabriel Morency the star Montreal and Internet radio host will be
here in Vancouver as well.
Please
let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested in helping this show
by advertising/sponsoring directly on the show as in a Total-CFLwebTV TV
commercial and or on Total-CFL.com and MYKwebWORLD. I do not need this
advertising to get started but I will need it to continue on a weekly basis
after the initial nightly Grey Cup shows and the following 4 weeks. I have
advertising packages starting at $300 for 6 mths. Email me myk@mykaussie.com

Big
News for the slumping Winnipeg Blue Bombers; they just signed a first
rate LB in Joe Tuipala, from Honolulu, Oah'u, Hawai'i. and Washington of
the NFL - Tuipala has been released by Washington with an injury settlement.
I guess Joe Gibbs is feeling
cocky since his 'skins have beaten 3 opponents in four
weeks (including the bye). Tuipala played in 1999 with the Detroit Lions
then was optioned to the NFL
'AAA's in Europe for 2000 season, playing for Barcelona.
In 2001, after his release, in Jan., by the Lions, Tuipala was, along with
fellow Hawai'ian, Kurt Goveia, the best LB (s) in the XFL, playing for the
team with the best Defence - the
Las Vegas Outlaws. Cologne vet TE/KS Werner
Hippler played on that '01 Vegas team also. In 2002, Tuipala made the
Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL and lead the Special Teams in tackles.
The
Jags optioned Tuipala back to the 'AAA's in Europe for the '03 season. He
played for Cologne but was released in the preseason. Washington picked
him up and promptly placed him
on the injured reserve. In '04 they sent him back to
NFL E and he again played for Cologne. After the NFL E season, Tiupala was
placed on Washington's practice
squad. In '05 they again optioned him back to Cologne
and he asked for his release last week. Is Washington "sending" him
Winnipeg in 'past
considerations' for Mike Sellers, who scored his first NFL TD yesterday?
As the stomach turns! How about the Saskatchewan Roughriders, now
5-0 with me and Myk's mate Marcus Crandell at pivot, eh? We love ya Marcus!
Help bring home Saskatchewan's third Grey Cup title in 16 tries this
year! Go East Carolina Pirates, too!

Bye: Hamilton, who's looking for a third QB.
From
Moose "Tune into Montreal's Sportsrage, tonight Wednesday in the a.m. to
hear me and Gabriel
Morency talk about all things NCAA-CFL-CIS.
Marcus Crandell has now
lead the formerly slumping Saskatchewan Roughriders to four
straight victories - AND - the 'Riders next opponant, the B.C. Lions have
now shown their mortal faces -
they've lost a game (!) and are the 'Riders next opponents.
The race for the six CFL playoff spots is heating up.
The
mood in the slumping Ottawa ReneGades camp is at an all time low. The
Glieb boy, 71-year-old Forrest Gregg is now running the whole Football
Operations show. My sources tell me that Joe Paopao is now cleaned his
office out of all unnecessary trinkets and memorabilia, except for the bare
essentials on his desk. The ax
is not going to fall before the end of the season, but
poor Joe couldn't get it through his coconut head that Kerry Joseph is only
an average QB. He could have
been a real good RB / DB, like he was from time
to time on the other seven Pro teams in the states and Europe, that he has
been before. Good bye, Joe, we hardly knew ye! Khari Jones got cut by his
fourth CFL team in two years, as the Hamilton Tiger-cats axed him last week.
With Danny Mac, back, there was no reason to keep him. The Montreal Alouettes
are still talking about a trade
with the Saskatchewan Roughriders for either the rights
to Shawn Withy-Allen or Timmy Chang, ex-Hawai'i QBs. And speaking about
possible trades, the Tiger-cats are not taking any wooden pickles, er, ah,
nickels (the Canadian
kind with the beaver on 'em) - the Tiger-cats are interested
in
both Canadian QBs recently cut by NFL teams - Ontario's Jessie Palmer and
Quebec's Brian St. Pierre. The 'Gades
hold the rights to St. Pierre and theAls the rights to the 'The Batchelor',
Jessie

Week's Picks:
Toronto OVER Ottawa, Hamilton OVER Edmonton, Montreal OVER Calgary and
Saskatchewan by 11 OVER B.C.
Marcus Crandell, who Morency and
I said was the best free agent pickup in the CFL's offseason, has got a
score to settle with B.C. He was
injured twice by Carl Kidd, who was cut by the
Minnesota Vikings (NFL) a couple years ago because he used to rough up
Randy ("oopps") Moss, Kidd has hurt Marcus twice when the former E.
Carolina Pirate was with
Calgary." Moose
