Tues, Mar 29 05 "CFL’s 2004 Most Outstanding Player Lions Casey Printers to hold a Casey's Kid's Camp this weekend!"

Kids aged from 6 to 18 will this weekend be coached by Casey Printers and other Lions Champs including Mark Washington, Ryan Thelwell, Jason Clermont, Geroy Simon and also legend CFL coach coach Wally Buono! Wow this is also great news, some of Casey’s friends from NFL teams the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos will also be there.

Time and Place is Saturday April 2nd, Registration begins at 8:00am and camp runs from 9:00am – 3:00pm at the South Surrey Athletic Park located at 148 Street and 20th Ave in South Surrey!" Myk Aussie

Sat, Mar 26 05 "Pammy get a new patch! This is great news, Pammy's BC Place to get new turf thanks to the Montreal Expo's leaving for Washington!" 

I really like watching CFL games on grass or the new turf. This is great news for the fans and the players.

From BC Lions today "B.C. PLACE AND BC LIONS ANNOUNCE NEW TURF FOR THE STADIUM (Vancouver BC), March 23, 2005 ・B.C. Place has purchased Field Turf from Montreal Olympic Stadium and after years of anticipation the old playing surface at B.C. Place Stadium is getting turfed, General Manager of B.C. Place Stadium Howard Crosley and Minister of Small Business and Economic Development John Les announced today. replacing the turf in B.C. Place Stadium will make this first class facility even better" said Minister Les. 

The stadium plays a big part in the economy of Vancouver and having a high quality playing surface such as this one will mean more events can be hosted at this great facility. The full playing field, which cost $1 Million has already received FIFA approval at several other venues and is made up of 1000 pieces of turf, assembled like a jigsaw puzzle and stored on a moveable tray system. The turf will be in place well before the BC Lions first preseason game mid-June. This is a great announcement for the Lions football club and the CFL, for amateur sport groups that regularly use our facility, and for the City of Vancouver" says Crosley. It puts the Stadium one notch higher as a world class facility that is occupied over 200 event days per year. "We've been building one of Canada best football clubs in Canada best stadium" says BC Lions General Manager and Head Coach, Wally Buono. This is positive news as our Club gains momentum and prepares to host the 2005 Grey Cup.・

Thurs, Mar 10 05 "CFL Grey Cup 2001 MVP Marcus Crandell is a new dad! Marcus is about to sign at a new CFL club within a couple of days!" 

I was reported in today's Vancouver paper that Marcus is about to sign with the Riders. Maybe this will be the case or maybe not.  I congratulated Marcus on becoming a dad as his son Carmelo George was recently born. We then started talking footy. I assumed the report was true and also had reason to believe it as Marcus's wife Mona is from Rider land. But Marcus said he hasn't signed anywhere yet but hopes to have a deal done within days. 

I knew he had been talking to the Montreal Alouettes and he said "Yes, Myk Aussie they have a very good side in Montreal so that would be good". "Anyone else Marcus or is out of the Al's and the Riders?" "Myk Aussie maybe Edmonton" Wow! Really. But Marcus maybe Wally trades Dave Dickenson and you become a Lion" and Marcus laughs.

Well there's a scoop. Marcus a chance to go back to his original CFL team the Eskimos. Now that would be good to see as well.

Fri, Dec 10 04 "Congrats to Danny Maciocia the CDN NFL Global Juniors Coach and now Eskimos Head Coach!

There is a great post this wek on the Total-CFl Discussion in regards to Eskimos new coach Danny Maciocia so I decided to also get involved in this great story! Another CDN Head coach in the CFL

Danny has been the head coach of Canada's NFL Global Junior team for the 2 years (99% sure he was in San Diego I know he was on the coaching staff) that I have had a great time filming the event & it seems he is again this year. You guys might enjoy this article. Click here

Danny has been a regular quest on SportsRage Montreal the Team with Morency as well.

I know one thing! MYKwebTV/Total-CFLwebTV have been the only CDN based media there the past 2 years and last year SportsRage did one of their nightly radio shows from the stadium after Morency loved my and Moose's nightly radio reports from San Diego including lots of NFL Global's. I am 99% sure MYKwebTV/Total-CFLwebTV and SportsRage as well will be at this event in Jacksonville.

Sat Dec 4 04 "BC Lions Fans on Get Offside Shaw TV!"

Shaw TV has a show called Get Offside on Monday nights 10 pm Pammy BC Lions time. I was in it the past 2 Monday nights as the cohost Terri Sportsbunny a hottie interviewed me along with other BC fans. Also great Lui Passaglia, Bob and Scott Ackles interviews.
