report! I can see Paopao getting the axe but why Kani Kauahi?" Moose Salzer
Scores:
Calgary 41, Montreal 23
Toronto 18, Winnipeg 15
Saskatchewan 51, Hamilton 8
I just found out Hamilton
Tiger-Cats DB Renard Cox, one of the only DBs to play well for Hamilton this
year, besides Sandy Beverage and now Rob Hitchcock, is from Richmond, VA, home
of the old Confederacy, YEE-HAW! The ax well on ill prepared Joe Paopao and
Kani Kauahi yesterday after the Ti-Cats were blown out Sat. night v.
Saskatchewan. I can see Paopao, who's been on barrowed time in Steeltown for 5
weeks now but why Kauahi. I mean I know both these kanakas are close, but do
they have to continue to follow each other around the CFL.
The only record they might set are most teams in the CFL's Coaching staffs
played on. Kauahi, who I played with at Hawai'I (one yr., before he embarked
on a 13-yr NFL career) is a fine Coach and probably should have been the
Offencive Coordinator. After all, he started to make a decent player out of 'QB'
K. Joseph at Ottawa last year (at least he rushed for 1006 yds.) But with Eric
Tillman now in Regina, expect one or both to wind up there. Hopefully for the
Riders, it'll be Kauahi! Ah, Labour Day is upon us again, kids. I am off on
that blessed Day and hope that Comcast will show one or both of those games.
Comcast sure had it's fill of games this weekend; the Sask. at Hamilton game,
Montreal on Sat. afternoon getting creamed by Calgary (I think Burris has
finally gotten it right). Also the Af2 Championship (which Spokane beat Green
Bay in). Several Coaches and players on Green Bay were from the old Toronto
Phantoms, may they rest in peace!
Game Balls for the CFL this week:
1) Wes Cates, RB-SB-KR-ST'r, Calgary, even those his fake FG run for a
major was called back.
2) Craig Dickenson, Special Teams Coach, Calgary. Great gameplan, kid!
3) Avon Cobourne, RB-KR-ST'r, Montreal
4) Scott Schultz, DLm, Saskatchewan
5) Ian 'Rocky' Butler, QB/H, Saskatchewan
Week 12 Picks [I'm now 18-14 on season]:
Montreal OVER B.C.
Saskatchewan OVER Winnipeg
Edmonton OVER Calgary
Hamilton <Tie> w/ Toronto, like '04 Labour Day game!
CFL Update;
My top Ten Alltime CFL Grey Cup Teams:
1) 1995 Baltimore Stallions -
finished the year 18-3, best mark ever in the CFL and with 13 consecutive
wins. Whipped Calgary 37-20 in the Grey Cup despite the Stampeders having both
Doug Flutie and Jeff (Red) Garcia as pivots. After season, NFL and Ar.FL stole
12 players an alltime high for CFL team.
2) 1997 Toronto Argonauts, 17-3. NFL and Ar.FL stole 8 players from this team
after '97 season. Won Grey Cup.
3) 1996 Toronto Argonauts,
17-3 Grey Cup Champs.
4) 1948 Calgary Stampeders.
Finished the Year 12-0. Stars were QB Keith Spaith and FB Normie Kwong. SI's
Pro Football writers called this Pro Football's best team until 1972 perfect
17-0 Miami Dolphins.
5) 1981 Edmonton Eskimos,
16-1-1, won Grey Cup.
6) 1980 Edmonton Eskimos,
15-3-0. Won Grey Cup.
7) 1979 Edmonton Eskimos,
14-2-2. Won Grey Cup.
8) 1978 Edmonton Eskimos,

23 06 "CFL report! The Axe falls on Mr Roy Shivers in Regina!" Moose
I'm here a couple of years ago with Rider GM Roy Shivers
in Regina. It was a great
trip.
CFL-USA Report: Roy Shivers,
who I had the pleasure of meeting in Regina in '04, was let go as G.M. by the
Saskatchewan Roughriders. I do not necessarily think that it's per se a
mistake after all Kerry Joseph, who Shivers paid dearly for has been an
unmitigated bust for the 'Riders at QB. Joseph was benched by the Riders and
last weekend, in Saskatchewan's 46-15 win over injured Hamilton, the Riders
alternated younger QBs Ian 'Rocky' Butler and vet Marcus (Grey Cup '01)
Crandell [combined they were a very efficient 21 of 22 for 198 yds., 2 TDs
and 0 sacks, INTs, fumbles].
Expect this move to continue but because of the contract Shivers signed Joseph
to, it'll be hard to trade him. $400,000 CDN is way too much for a glorified
backup RB/QB. Personally I saw it coming several weeks ago and it disappoints
me. I think Joseph and Coach Danny Barrett (52-64-1) should have been the one
(s?) to go. Barrett, a very good CFL QB/SB during his 14 years in the League
(after one yr., of backing up Doug Flutie in the USFL), hasn't gotten the job
done as Coach of Saskatchewan. Shivers has gotten plenty of talent.
Let's look back: In 1997 Saskatchewan made their last Grey Cup appearance.
They were beaten, 43-27, losing to Doug Flutie and Toronto. It was expected.
But in 1998 and 1999, the 'Riders were 3-15-0 and 3-15-0. Since the 'Riders
have made the playoffs the last four season and even went to Western
Conference Finals twice. Shivers should be given credit for that. I do believe
Roy's choices at QB were not very good (I brought Roy a video of Shawn
Withy-Allen, from Hawai'i where Shivers was an Ast. Coach in '75) and either
he nor Player Personnel Director Tony Playter didn't act. Well, there's an old
saying; 'You can lead a mule to Dr. Pepper, but you can't make him drink.'
Obviously Marcus Crandell and Rocky Butler are better than Joseph, Nealon
Greene, who flopped at Edmonton and is flopping as a QB/RB at Montreal (see
their recent blowout loss to a mediocre Toronto team). Sorry it didn't work
out Roy. You were a trend setter; the first black G.M. in Pro Football
history. Take care...Now onto other stuff:
Damon Allen, now alternating with both Mike Bishop and Spurgon Wynn at pivot
for TO., just hit 70,000 yds., passing in his career (all 22 seasons or parts
of seasons in the CFL). Allen has already set a more dubious record - 70,112
time count violations! How much longer will Coach 'Pinball' Clemons majik work
in TO. with it's inferior three-headed QB hydra of Mike Bishop-Damon Allen-Spurgon
Wynn alternating? Not too much longer. I have the perfect solution: Shawn
Withy-Allen, who's still only 26. Come CFL, wake up!
Scores:
Toronto 31, Montreal 6
Saskatchewan 46, Hamilton 15
B.C 30, Edmonton 19
Game Balls:
1) Sandro DeAngelis, K, Calgary
2) Rich Stubler, Def. Coor., Toronto
3) Adam Rita, Off.Coor., Toronto [Anybody that can win alternating 3 QBs has
to get a game ball!]
4) Rocky Butler / Marcus Crandell, QBs, Saskatchewan (12 of 22 for 198 yds., 2
TDs, O INTs, sacks, fumbles in Roughriders win).
5) Arlan Bruce, III, WR-SB, Toronto
Week 11 Picks:
Montreal by 1 OVER Calgary (Come on Sandro!)
Winnipeg by 8 OVER Toronto (three QBs aren't going do it all yr.)
Saskatchewan by 2 OVER Hamilton (the Ti-Cats aren't that bad, just injured!)"

With Kevin Glenn, QB out,
Winnipeg got smart and resigned Russ Michna, who should be a great one in a
couple years; he never should have been released. Backup Mike Quinn, who's
last big moment was being on the Rhein Fire Championship NFL E ("AAA") team
with Kerry Joseph in '98, has been real bad in relief of Glenn. I told
everybody so. Toronto, after failing to get Doug Flutie back one more time,
got Mike Bishop back this week and he was very good in alternating with Damon
Allen through much of the game in the win in Hamilton Saturday night. I really
feel for both Coach Ron Lancaster and QB Jason Maas. Mass, really has not
adjusted well to life in the Eastern Conference yet. He's still in a slump.
But getting RB Josh Ranek back will help down the stretch.
The noose is getting tighter around Danny Barrett and Roy Shivers necks in
Regina after the devastatingly close loss at Edmonton.
In answer to the
cfl.ca question as to the greatest
Pass-Catch duo in
CFL hsitory, it's real simple;
Danny McManus to Darren Flutie. They have more pass completions between them!
They also played together on three teams. I am now 17-11 on the season in CFL
game picks.

1) Michael Bishop, QB-RB, Toronto
2) Brent Johnson, DE, B.C.

Update! Kent Austin fired as TO. starts the skapegoat routine!" Moose Salzer
Scores:
Calgary 23, Saskatchewan 7

Montreal 31, Toronto 7
The firing of Kent Austin, who more than single-handedly helped Toronto win
that improbable Grey Cup in Ottawa in '04, was dumb, dumb, dumb! Are we to
believe that Austin is really the problem of this overrated team!? Nope...I
didn't think so. If the young, energetic owners want to look at themselves.
They were the geniuses who, instead of getting a good, provable solid reserve
pivot in the off-season, one of many pivots looking for work, they spent big
bucks to get sorry Ricky WIlliams, who will go down as one of the biggest
busts in CFL history, broken arm and all! I am sorry to see Spurgon Wynn, who
I liked since his Amsterdam Admirals days, and Williams get hurt, but they had
Doug Flutie salivating several weeks ago to get back into the Bigs, for a 22nd
season and then at the last minute they entertained his rights as trade bait.
Flutie received a text message from little brother Darren that told him not to
bother coming to TO. He didn't!
Austin did great things for the Argos that last couple years and was the 12th
best QB (at least) in CFL history. Remember how he lead the Roughriders to
that come from behind win in the Grey Cup in '89? I still have the video.
It looks like it's time to
fire either Roy Shivers or Danny Barrett in Regina, as the Saskatchewan
Roughies are flat and cold once again. There would be a good place to go for
Austin! He should be hired as either H. Coach or G.M. and help right that
ship. Kerry Joseph is certainly a courageous player for winning the 'Warrior
of the Game', but he's still no QB. To have Marcus Crandell (1-0 in Grey Cups)
sitting on the bench is not great! For those wishing to sent donations to
Kathy Garski for TD Manitoba, here's her work address: 294 Collegiate Street,
Winnipeg, Manitoba R3J 1V1.
Game Balls, Week 8:
1) Geoffrey Reynolds, RB, Calgary
2) Don Matthews, Coach & Jim Popp, G.M., Montreal
3) Demetrious [D-Max] Maxie, DLm, Calgary
4) Jacoby Rhinehart, DB, Calgary
5) Buck Pierce, QB & Geroy Simon, SB-WR, B.C.
Quick Question: What in the
world is up with Scott Coe's hair and who is this meathead Elliotte Friedman?
Elliott-e had the temerity during the half time blurb to say that 'despite
Doug Flutie's height, his great quickness (...et, al).. allowed him to become
the CFL's QB of the '90's." Where has good 'ole Elliott-e been? Under a rock?
What the hell does Flutieball's height have to do with anything? That's the
whole reason Flutes went to the CFL! Picks for Week 9 later this week!" Moose

Week 7 Can You believe we are one third of the way through the CFL's 98th
season!" Moose Salzer
Scores from Week 7:
Winnipeg 29, Hamilton 0
Montreal 21, Edmonton 13
Saskatchewan 19, Calgary 9
B.C. 28, Toronto 8
Game Balls:
1) Kerry Joseph, QB, Saskatchewan, who really has improved!
2) Anwar Stewart, DE/TE, Montreal
3) Anthony Calvillo, QB, Montreal
4) Charles Roberts, RB/KR, Winnipeg
5) Etienne Boulay, DB-ST, Montreal
There's real trouble brewing
in the locker rooms of both Toronto and Calgary. Both these teams are split
between QBs, but Toronto cleared a spot for Doug Flutie to return by waiving
Darnell Kennedy, who just never could quite get the CFL game down. A very
highly touted pivot from Alabama St., he had trouble in Calgary getting ahead
of now Af2 QB Kevin Feterik (if you can believe that!) and then couldn't
beat out a very replaceable K. Joseph in Ottawa. In Toronto he fell behind
Eric Crouch and Spurgon Wynn. Damon Allen is off I.R. now, not that that
matters much. Toronto is every bit as bad as I said they would be and Winnipeg
every bit as good as I said they would be at the beginning of the year.
I am still not worried about Hamilton despite them laying a goose egg on the
scoreboard last weekend v. Bombers. Ron Lancaster just hit career win number
140 several weeks ago, and with his 5-5-0 season in Montreal with Les
Machine back in the WLAF in '91, Don Matthews just hit 240 career Pro wins,
235 in the CFL with the win over slumping Edmonton last Friday night.
Happy 10th anniversary to the
CFL for Wendy's Friday night Football! The game was on down here on Comcast.
Kai Ellis has been moved from DE to MLB by the Als and it worked very well v.
Esks Friday. Anwar Stewart is having another monster season as DLm for the Als
and they are now using him on Offence as well at TE for an extra blocker. What
a good guy. Was fun in the ALs lockerroom after the Grey Cup win in '02 also.
Dave Mudge is out for maybe the year for the Als, but The Don, all 240 wins
and all has the Als 6-0-0 so far. Lot of credit to G.M. Jim Popp as well!
Week 8 Picks:
Saskatchewan OVER Calgary (second week in a row. Bring on Danny Mac, Tom
Higgins!)
Montreal OVER Toronto, unless Pinball gets DF up there!
B.C. OVER Edmonton
Hamilton OVER Winnipeg (no way Berry beats Ronnie L. 2 weeks in-a-row!)

Moose
Week 6 Scores:
Montreal 41, Hamilton 38
Winnipeg 25, Edmonton 20
Brit. Col. 43, Calgary 20
Toronto 26, Saskatchewan 23
Myk criticized me on the the
Danny Mac factor in his old new Hometown, Calgary, but it's getting too hot
for Tom Higgins anymore to ignore. Henry Burris is an above average QB, no
more and Danny Mac who did a great interview with Brian Williams on Friday
night is a CFL legend. Burris apparently stormed out of the Stamps
locker-room and didn't even change, or shower following the Stamps blowout
loss to a red hot (and also feeling pressure!), B.C., last weekend!
McManus is about to make
history, if he can lead an alltime high fifth (!) CFL team to the Grey Cup,
following this season. If Danny Mac wins the Grey Cup with his fifth CFL team,
Calgary, then he will retire after this season. If he loses the Grey Cup, he
still makes history for leading five CFL teams all Canadian, I might add to
the Grey Cup, then he will come back for one more year. Tom Higgins has gotten
four mediocre performances out of Burris so far this year and only one really
good one.
Best wishes to Spurgon Wynn, who suffered a concussion after a hit by Reginan
Scott Schultz, in TO.'s win (barely) OVER Saskatchewan yesterday. No word on a
suspension or fine, yet, for Schultzie. There were some great games in the CFL
this past week, and some of us on the East coast HAD to stay up until 1:30 (!)
A.M. to see them conclude. Milt Stegall, who is pushing hard this year to get
a Grey Cup appearance at home, could still catch and pass all-time CFL Major
Leaders (TDS), Mike Pringle and George Reed. Best of luck to Milt.
Game Balls:
1) Milt Stegall, WR-SB, Winnipeg
2) Anthony Calvillo, QB, Montreal
3) Jerome Haywood, DT-KR (!), Montreal
4) Julian Radlein, FB-OT (!), Hamilton
5) M. Myers, K, Hamilton

British Columbia 28.
Montreal 44 (they HAVEN'T peaked yet!), Winnipeg Blue Bombers, back-to-earth,

Hamilton (w/old hand Ron Lancaster back at controls) 20, Calgary 17.
After two years in-a-row of
0-4 starts, former CIS McMaster Mauraders' Coach, Greg Marshall got outed by
the Ti-Cats, the poor guy. Certainly an un-stellar 14-25-1 mark is not
sufficient for a team with the all-time leading receiver in CFL history (and
one of the top six of all-time in ANY Pro league(s)), Terry Vaughn. He broke
Darren Flutie's all-time CFL mark, but Darren also had 18 more for two more
TDs in the NFL, so Vaughn will need three more games (at least) to pass Darren
F. on Pro Football's all-time receiving list, to position number 17, right
ahead of recently retired Carolina Panther, Ricky (Super Bowl magnet) Proehl.
I really feel for Greg Marshall and predict he will be back in the CIS
Coaching next year. I did like the fact that Ron Lancaster, Pro Football's
first all-time 50,000+ yard passer is back at the helm (at least they didn't
'up' Coconut Joe Paopao, who is a dismal 34-68-0-2, in five CFL and one XFL
seasons. Paopao, a good enough guy, is not H.Coaching material in ANY Pro
League! Since it's obvious that Ron Lancaster will go back to the front office
next season ('07), hopefully when the Ottawa Rough Renegades return, I have
the perfect (I believe) replacement; the OTHER Greg Marshall, of Winnipeg's

Dirtiest play of the week, Winnipeg's Tom Canada (actually he's an American, I
am ashamed to say...) by putting his helmet into the back of fine young TO. QB
Spurgeon Wynn on the last play of TO.-Wpg. game. Cheap Shot! VA's Charles
Roberts continues to lead the standings in rushing. I still say the best
overall back in the CFL is Josh Ranek, and if he and the lousy Offensive line
play in Hamilton improve, the Ti-Cats will be a monster late in the year.
Their QB, Jason Maas was on the sidelines of the TO.-Wpg. game yesterday at
Rogers Centre, er, ah, the SkyDome
Kerry "Jokeseph" was horrid for the Roughriders, but even worse was Myk's boy,
RB (?), Rickey Williams, who had 10 carries for a blistering 6 yds., in the
TO. loss to the surging Blue Bombers. I still say releasing a very fine young
pivot like lefty Russ Michna was Dumb, dumb, dumb by the Bombers; who will
play if a now red-hot Kevin Glenn goes cold (which I
believe he will, eventually...), or gets hurt, retread Mike Quinn?! Gimme a

Brit. Col. 26, Toronto 17
Winnipeg 46, Edmonton 10
Week 3 Game Balls:
1) Geroy Simon, WR, B.C. Lions
2) Kevin Glenn, QB, Winnipeg
3) Matt Sheridan, OLm, Winnipeg
4) Tom (O) Canada [Day], DE-LB, Winnipeg
5) Tie: Darryl 'Mookie' Mitchell, WR-SB, Edmonton (156 yds in one third of
game before leaving with injury!) & Chris Brazzell, WR-SB, Winnipeg.
If the CFL season ended today, I would have to
pick Jeoffrey Reynolds, RB of the Calgary Stampeders for Offencive Most
Outstanding Player. The Canada Day Game, though a blowout, was a welcome sight
for me Saturday night here in Ches., VA as the Tides were in Ottawa in
the International Baseball League. I will see them v. Ottawa this week, Friday
though. CFL Instant Replay sucks, trashcan it! That was no INT by by Mr Rough-playdisqualification,
Donnovan Carter, who along with Jay McNeil are the dirtiest players in the CFL!
Ed Hervey's knee was down and nobody had possession of the ball. Officiating
continues to be poor in the CFL again this year, and why does the CFL have to
imitate the overrated NFL by getting Instant Replay? Just another reason to
Hate ......(".. edit, edit" Myk)
I guess!

Week 2 Update! Joe Short make good point!" Moose Salzer
Week 2 Scores:
Montreal 32, Hamilton 14
Winnipeg 16, Toronto 9
Edmonton 18, Calgary 14
Saskatchewan 32, B.C. 24
Game Balls for CFL Week Two:
1) Virginia's Charles Roberts, RB-KR, Winnipeg
2) Terry Vaughn, WR, Hamilton
3) Anthony Calvillo, QB, Montreal
4) Jarnel Richardson, WR, Saskatchewan
5) Jason Tucker, WR, Edmonton
Joe Short, Baltimore Stallions
fan supremo, he mentioned last week that I should have given some of the
credit for the Montreal Als fast start, not only to fine vet Coach Don
Matthews but also to G.M. Jim Popp as well. I confess I am guilty of leaving
Jim out. Mea Culpa!
Goat-of-The-Week: Henry Burris, for throwing the INT in the endzone for the
loss v. the Esks. How many more weeks before Danny Mac takes his job? Joke of
the year so far is overrated Ricky (Scoobie) Williams, RB of the TO. Argos. A
whopping 111 yards, rushing in two CFL games so far this year!
Speaking of Danny McManus, he and Darren Flutie are the all-time pass-catch
combo in CFL history. Not Warren Moon and Brian Kelly, as erroneously reported
on another CFL site. Kelly played nine years and Moon only six in the CFL,
though both were outstanding players. Joe Short also updated me on the '06
Grey Cup Parade - it'll be at night like back in '98. Joe will have more for
us on that in the future!
Week 3 Picks:
Hamilton OVER Calgary
B.C. OVER Toronto
Winnipeg OVER Edmonton" Moose
"Moose when you realize that Henry Burris is the man in Calgary and even Danny
Mac realizes that! I bet Ricky Williams comes good. He was awesome in the last

CFL Picks: Week Two
Saskatchewan by 7 OVER B.C.
Winnipeg by 5 OVER Toronto
Hamilton by 1 OVER Montreal
Edmonton by 11 OVER Calgary
I was 3-1 in WEEK 1, though
Myk lost my E-mail and didn't post my picks.
If anybody out there still has
any doubts as to why Don Matthews is the greatest Coach in CFL history, check
out the current Montreal Les Alouettes Injured Reserve list and they still
beat the Russ Michna-Less Winnipeg Bombers, 27-17 in week one!
Injured and out now are: Davis Sanchez, DB, Sylvain Girard, WR, Avon Cobourne,
RB-KR, Ezra Landry, KR-PR-SB-WR, Matt Proulx, DB, Mike Vilimek, FB-RB, Paul
Archer, Centre, Dave Stala, WR/P/QB, Clint Wayne, DT, Kai Ellis, DE, R-Kal
Truluck, DE-LB.
Wow! Is all I can say. But you
have to admit with Marcus Brady and Nealon Greene, a couple of good guys on
board this year, they have two very good backup pivots! Study the names again
above and next week I will focus on another CFL team, the Saskatchewan
Roughriders, who are going in the wrong direction to start the '06 season and
why they should start Marcus Crandell over what's-his-name -at-QB! Here's mine
for this week Myk, with My Game Balls for Week One, Season 98 of the CFL:
Game Balls for High
Performance in Week One of the CFL:
1) Ed Hervey, WR, Edmonton,
2) Dave Dickenson, QB, B.C. Lions
3) Ricky Ray, QB, Edmonton
4) Spurgeon Wynn, QB, Toronto the only reason that TO. won in week one! Hope
he stays in the lineup! A good guy FINALLY getting a REAL chance! Was terrific
in NFL E w/Amsterdam several years ago.
5) Jeoffrey Reynolds, RB, Calgary. I'll be honest here, as I always am, like
it or not, I still think they made a huge mistake releasing talented Tony
Stallings,
a great kid but Reynolds prepped for playing in the bigs w/a Championship in
the NFL 'AAA's two years ago!
CFL Present Updated Active QBs per CFL club:
1) B.C. Lions - Dave Dickenson, Buck Pierce, Jarious Jackson.
2) Calgary - Henry Burris, Danny Mac, Dave Corley, a great kid from here in
Virginia, and Pinball Clemons Almer Mater, William and Mary College the oldest
University in Nth America!
3) Edmonton - Ricky Ray, Jason Johnson. and Steve Jyles (watch this kid!
Could be another Jason Maas!)
4) Saskatchewan Roughriders (Yikes!) - Kerry "Joke" Joseph, Marcus Crandell,
Ian 'Rocky' Butler.
5) Winnipeg - Worst situation in League - Totally backward from how it should
be and they cut their best QB. Obviously Berry not ready to be Head Coach!
Kevin Glenn, Mike Quinn, Brad Banks, who Myk and saw tear it up in the Maui
Hula Bowl in Feb. 1st, 2003! As much as I really like the Bombers, the new
Coach is already in trouble and has released their best QB, Russ Michna, a big
mistake!
6) Hamilton - Jason Maas, Kevin Eakin (played on same NFL E team as Jeoffrey
Reynolds several years ago, could turn out to be a good one!), Ritchie
Williams (who is HE?!)
7) Montreal - Best trio in the League, bar none! And in the right order! -
Anthony Calvillo, Marcus Brady, Nealon Greene. Look for Nealon to play some RB
later in the year, too, with Landry and Cobourne (another great one from NFLE)
both hurt right now.
8) Toronto - Pls. Coach Pinball, keep Spurgeon in the lineup! You won't
regret it! (1) Spurgeon Wynn, the ex-Viking and Admiral, Damon Allen, Eric
Crouch (can play three positions!)

"Moose excellent report but I'm not sure
how you can possibly want Pinball to keep Spergeon in. I look forward to Damon
Allen coming back! What has Damon done since getting booted out of the BC
Lions as few years ago? Lots, he's won a Grey Cup in 2004 with the Argo's and
the CFL MVP Award in 05!
What have the BC Lions done since booting Damon out? They have got to the Grey
Cup in 2004, the y have produced a great QB in Casey Printers but didn't treat
him that great so he's now at the NFL Kansas City Chiefs. Dave Dickenson is
excellent as well but he gets injured lots. I have to say Damon Allen has done
more than Dave Dickenson has the past 2 years. Hopefully Dave can stay fit all
season and lead the Lions to the Grey Cup which will be his 1st!
I think Kerry Joseph will prove you wrong at the Riders! That would be great
to see Nealon Greene play Running Back for the Alouettes and even trick the
opponents by throwing as well. Lions look to be in reasonable shape with Buck
Pierce and former NFL Denver Bronco Jarious Jackson. What a great CFL year it
should be. I know this, the QB's and Backup QB's are way better than when I
started following the CFL in 1998." Myk Aussie
