NFL Week 15 tips! Saturdee games this week. Yeh I get to watch NFL
       Saturdee and Sundee!
        In
Saturdee games Steelers over the Giants. OK the Black and Yellow
Steelers are a chance to make the Super Bowl. Seeing I will be there I
better start to not bag the Black and Yellow teams anymore and especialy
the Steelers. It's just that I have extreme dislike for the Gawler
Central Black and Yellow Tigers our South Gawler Lions arch rival. More
below on this. Steelers are a very very good team. The Jets were a big
chance last week but the Steelers were simply to good. Falcons
over Panthers in what should be a rippa of a game in Atlanta. Falcons QB
Michael Vick is simply amazing. Redskins over the horrid 49ers.
        In
Sundee games Bills over Bengals just. Bills are a chance for the
playoffs, now that's hard to believe. Bronco's over arch rivals
Chiefs. Broncos simply must win in the tough AFC and keep their chance
for a wildcard alive. Vikings over Lions. Oh no the Vikings seem
to be doing it again, they start the year so well then turn into a mess. Jets
over Seahawks. I like the Jets a lot while the Seahawks with a
average record are leading their NFC Division, that's weird. Rams
over the again horrible Cardinals. Chris Chandler the backup QB for the
Rams threw a lot of interceptions last week. I remember him from the
Super Bowl for the Falcons in which me Bronco's won big! Raiders over
       the Tit's.
        Eagles
over Cowboys. The Cowboys are a bit silly loosing to the Saints, now
making it tough for them to make the playoffs. Texans over the
very average Bears. Chargers over Browns. Chargers are still
winning, that's weird but good luck to them. I love the city and the
beaches near San Diego. I have followed the Chargers a lot over the years
because of Aussie punter Darren Bennett who is now at the Vikings. Buc's
over Saints. Packers just over the Jags in what should be a
another rippa of a game. Colts over the Ravens in what could be a
       great gam as well.
        And
on Mondee night the Pat's to hammer the Fish" Myk Aussie

PLAYERS OF WEEK 14 - RAVENS QB KYLE BOLLER, CHARGERS LB DONNIE EDWARDS
& STEELERS P CHRIS GARDOCKI  Quarterback
KYLE BOLLER of the Baltimore Ravens, linebacker DONNIE EDWARDS of the San
Diego Chargers and punter CHRIS GARDOCKI of the Pittsburgh Steelers are
the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for
games played the 14th week of the 2004 season (December 12-13), the NFL
       announced today. OFFENSE:
QB KYLE BOLLER, BALTIMORE RAVENS Baltimore’s
Boller passed for a career-high four touchdowns without an interception
in leading the Ravens to a 37-14 home win against the New York Giants.
The second-year quarterback from California became the fourth passer in
the club’s nine-year history to pass for four TDs in a game.
Boller produced the highest single-game passer rating of his young career
(112.3) and surpassed a 100.0 rating for the fourth time this season,
completing 18 of 34 for 219 yards.  The 23-year-old led Baltimore on
four scoring drives in its first seven possessions, including three
touchdown passes with two well-placed high-wire scoring throws to 6-6
rookie wide receiver CLARENCE MOORE.  With the victory, Baltimore
(8-5) holds its ground in a tightly contested AFC playoff picture.
The Ravens play at Indianapolis (10-3) next Sunday night. This
is Boller’s first Player of the Week Award. DEFENSE:
LB DONNIE EDWARDS, SAN DIEGO CHARGERS Against
Tampa Bay, San Diego linebacker DONNIE EDWARDS returned an interception
30 yards for a touchdown with 4:09 remaining in regulation to break a
21-21 tie and help the Chargers deliver a 31-24 victory.  The
interception was Edwards’ second of the day, tying his career high, and
marked the fourth time in his career that he returned an interception for
a touchdown.  The 6-2, 227-pounder also led the team with 16 tackles
and four passes defensed.  The Chargers improved their record to
10-3 and remain in first-place in the AFC West. In
his ninth season from UCLA, this is Edwards’ second career Player of
the Week Award (Week 15, 1999) and his first with San Diego.  SPECIAL
TEAMS: P CHRIS GARDOCKI, PITTSBURGH STEELERS In
a game largely impacted by field position, Pittsburgh’s Gardocki punted
five times for a 42.4-yard average and 39.6-yard net average in a 17-6
victory against the New York Jets in a cold and windy Heinz Field.
Kicking in a 25-degree windchill factor at kickoff, the 14-year veteran
from Clemson boomed a long punt of 51 yards and twice allowed his
teammates to down punts at his opponents’ four-yard line.  The
Stone Mountain, Georgia native has punted 1,042 times without having a
punt blocked, making him the first and only player in NFL history to kick
more than 1,000 punts without having one blocked. This
is Gardocki’s second Player of the Week Award on the season (Week 11). NFC
PLAYERS OF WEEK 14 - SEAHAWKS WR DARRELL JACKSON, PANTHERS LB DAN MORGAN
& SAINTS P MITCH BERGER. Wide
receiver DARRELL JACKSON of the Seattle Seahawks, linebacker DAN MORGAN
of the Carolina Panthers and punter MITCH BERGER of the New Orleans
Saints are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the
Week for games played the 14th week of the 2004 season (December 12-13),
       the NFL announced today. OFFENSE:
WR DARRELL JACKSON, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Jackson
was instrumental in helping the Seahawks to an exciting 27-23 win over
the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome, moving Seattle into sole
possession of first place in the NFC West. Jackson, playing with a heavy
heart after learning of the death of his father on Sunday morning, tied a
career high with 10 receptions for 135 yards, including a 19-yard
touchdown catch to give the Seahawks a 21-20 halftime advantage. Then
with Seattle nursing a 27-23 lead and facing a third and seven from its
       23-yard line with 1:55 remaining, Jackson’s 37-yard catch and run was a
pivotal play in helping Seattle use the clock and improve its field
position. Minnesota would retain possession at its own 11 with 44 seconds
to play, but the Seattle defense rose to the occasion to seal the win.
Jackson has 74 receptions this season and needs eight to pass BRIAN
BLADES (81, 1994) for the most in a single season in franchise history. In
his fifth season from Florida, this is Jackson’s first Player of the
       Week Award. DEFENSE:
LB DAN MORGAN, CAROLINA PANTHERS Morgan
returned to the lineup after missing the previous three games due to
injury and immediately made his presence felt, helping the Panthers to
their fifth consecutive win, a 20-7 triumph over the visiting St. Louis
Rams. Morgan led Carolina with a game-high nine tackles and had a
career-best two interceptions, helping slow a passing attack that entered
the game ranked fourth in the NFL, averaging 268.5 yards per game. Both
of Morgan’s interceptions came in the fourth quarter, as the Rams tried
to rally from a 13-point deficit. His first pick ended a drive at the
Carolina 43 while his second did the same at the Carolina 48. The Coral
Springs, FL native helped the Panthers to a franchise-record six
interceptions on the day, limiting St. Louis to 289 total yards, their
third-lowest total of the year. In
his fourth season from Miami, this is Morgan’s first Player of the Week
       Award. SPECIAL
TEAMS: P MITCH BERGER, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS Berger
played an important role in the Saints 27-13 road-win over the Dallas
Cowboys at Texas Stadium, helping New Orleans improve to 22-16 (.579)
away from home under head coach JIM HASLETT. Berger punted five times for
a 46.0-yard average on the day, pinning four of his five punts inside the
20-yard line. The veteran punter had a net average of 44.8 yards on the
day and he leads the NFL with a 40.9-yard net average this season.
Dallas’ punt return unit entered the game ranked tenth in the league
(9.6), and Berger helped limit the Cowboys to six punt return yards and a
       2.0-yard punt return average. In
his 10th season from Colorado, this is Berger’s fifth Player of the
       Week Award. It
is so cool to be the only Aussie that has regularly reported on the NFL
for the past 5 years. Yep that's me, I have had NFL media passes at Super
Bowl's, Pro Bowl's and other NFL games. Thus I am allowed into the NFL

"Moose's NFL week 14 HARDBall and informative report and week 15
       picks!"
        Records;
some more dubious than others! Eli Manning is now 0-4 as a starter
in his so far bombing career (can you say El Busto?). I think Ryan
Leaf is safe! So is his dad
Archie, if you can believe that. The New Jersey Giants
are 0-5 since benching the great Kurtis Eugene Warner, the man. 'Lil
Manning is now completing a blistering 40% of his ducks for 1 TD, 8
       INTs, 9 sacks and ten
fumbles (six lost). Peyton can breath easy, too. Kurt
was dominant in the fourth quarter v. Baltimore's reserves but it was
already 37-0, thus no come back. Poor Virginia's Tiki Barber! Is
it too early to fire knucklehead Coach (?) Tom Coughlin)?! Other
records: The great Brett Favre has now started a record 202 straight
games as a Pro Football QB. No quarterback in ANY Pro League has ever
done that. He will do with that record what Hawai'i University's
Timmy Chang has done to the NCAA passing marks put it out of orbit.
Nobody will ever break Brett's mark, I predict. Another
record of note - how about Iron Ben Roethlisberger of Pittsburgh?
Now 11-0 as a rook starting QB. Wait until they play San
Diego in the playoffs though, eh? You can stick the following teams
with a pin - they are out of the playoff hunt - New Jersey's "They
would be Giants", Kansas City, Tampa Bay, despite an awesome game
from Brian Griese (now 5-3 as a starter in the Gruden bros Tampa) how
about 392 yards and three TDs IN A LOSS?!? I still gave him a game
ball for the effort though - and most who get this Sports e-Newsletter
know how I feel about Rookies (usually), Frosh RBs AND GIVING
game balls in losing performances. But Bucc fans, you've found
yourselves a QB. Chris Simms has nice genes (better than the
Mannings, though for them one out of three aint' bad, I suppose) but
he's a lefty bullpen pitcher now. Minnesota is fading fast too with
       e.... Randy Moss (
"Moose don't bag Randy the Champ" Myk ) and Daunte "who
should be a linebacker or TE" Culpepper.
Culpepper keeps throwing killer INTs late in close games &
Moss' head just ain't in the game always. He is averaging an
unconscienable 3 DROPS per game. Why isn't this guy in Af2? Or maybe the
       NIFL? I don't care how
athletic he is, YOU SIMPLY CANNOT PLAY AT THIS
LEVEL and have that many drops. I wish the NFL would keep that
as a stat like the better Arena Football League does. Sheesh! Kiss
Red Garcia gone after this season is over in Cleveland. He's slipped
       to third on the Brownies
depth chart at QB. Speaking of ex-CFL QBs, how
about that Ricky Ray sighting Sunday? Ricky held on two successful
       kicks in the Jersey Jets
17-6 loss to streaking Pittsburgh. With holder Quincy
(Substance) Carter out with a mystery [sniff!] injury, Ricky was the
only other holder available on the roster. They could have brought
       in Shawn Ke'ali'i
Withy-Allen, who is getting ready to celebrate Milikelimaka Day
in Hawai'i soon. He'll be in camp next month with the Nashvegas Kats
of the Ar.FL. Waht a great talent not being properly untilized. Week
       14 game balls: 1)
The Carolina Panthers (my vote for Coach of the year now - Virginia
       Beach's John Fox. How about
that recovery from a 1-7-0 start, eh?), as a
team. Especially that great defence. Two Profile in Courage types -
       Sam Mills [Toronto-CFL,
Philadelphia-Baltimore, USFL, New Orleans and Carolina
       - NFL], LB Coach, the greatest LB in the history of Pro Football and
LB Mark Fields, both survivors of Cancer last year. The Defence was
still good enough to get to
the Super Bow last year, even without Fields
in the lineup and with Mills ailing. But with both of them at full
       strength this year, they've
       been dynamite! 2)
Kyle Boller, QB, Baltimore - a career high 4 TDs in a win over the
       pathetic G-men. 3)
Brian Griese (see above), 392 yards and 3 TDs in a loss. What a gutsy
       kid! 4)
Ex-Frankfurt NFL E Champ RB Maurice Hicks with a 139 yard game in
Friscio's second win of the season. And don't look now, but Ken Dorsey
is becoming a player too! 7 TDs and only two INTs on the season.
Take that bonus baby, Eli Manning! 5)
Tie - the following players for great performances: Detroit's Virginia
       Tech RB, Kevin Jones, Ex-Hawai'i
Warrior K Jason Elam, Buffalo's mouthy
RB Lewis Mcghee and new Bronco RB Tatum (not O'Neal) Bell
[where in the Carmen San Diego-picking world does that mad genius
Shanahan come up with RBs?). Week
       15 picks: Pittsburgh
OVER New York (pathetic) G-menSan Francisco OVER Washington
 Carolina OVER Atlanta
 Chicago OVER Houston
 Detroit OVER slumping Minnesota
 Seattle OVER New York Jets
 Kansas City OVER Denver (Upset)
Miami OVER New ENGLAND (bIG uPSET!)

       Myk Aussie
        I
have tipped 11 so far with one more game tonight as the Chiefs take on
the Tit's. The New York Jets played a great game and were very unlucky on
some penalty calls against the Steelers. The Bronco's only just defeated
MADNess's Fish. Lots more coming this week as I await Moose's NFL
HARDBall but informative week 14 report. We had a great NFL/CFL style
footy game on Sundee morning at Billy Clinton Park here in Vancouver. 10
players showed up in our final game of 04. It was again a lot of fun
catching, throwing and diving in the muddy conditions.  Direct

HOLD OFF REDSKINS 17-14 ON SUNDAY NIGHT The
NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles improved to 12-1 and by edging
the Washington Redskins 17-14 Sunday night. Eagles
S BRIAN DAWKINS intercepted Redskins QB PATRICK RAMSEY’s pass in the
end zone with 1:46 remaining to seal the victory. Philadelphia
QB DONOVAN MC NABB completed 21 of 38 attempts for 260 yards and a
       touchdown. Washington
WR LAVERANEUS COLES set a career-high by hauling in 12 receptions for 100
       yards. NFL
TUESDAYS: PLAYERS IN THE COMMUNITY ONTHEIR DAYS OFF
 PLAYERS
HELP MAKE THE HOLIDAYS SPECIAL FOR LOCAL CHILDREN WILLIE
MCGINEST of the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS will be joined by some of his
teammates to participate in this year’s "Shop with a Jock"
program. Players will give 50 children from the Boston Department of
Social Services $100 Wal-Mart gift certificates and then help them select
gifts for their loved ones and themselves. The
OAKLAND RAIDERS will join members of the United States Marines to collect
toys at a local mall as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve "Toys
for Tots" program. Players will sign autographs in exchange for new,
unwrapped toys. Since the inception of "Toys for Tots," the
Marines have distributed more than 300 million toys to 151 million
       children. Former
and current players of the CLEVELAND BROWNS will host over 850 Special
Olympic student-athletes from Cleveland Municipal Schools for a holiday
party that will include football clinics, lunch, music, and a special
       visit from Santa Claus. These
are just some of the many community service activities taking place as
       part of "NFL Tuesdays." Tuesday
is the traditional day off for NFL players during the season. It is the
day players escape the rigors of pro football and get reacquainted with
rest and relaxation. But many players also use their day off to "go
to work" in their communities. The
NFL highlights these day-off community endeavors with a program entitled
"NFL Tuesdays." The program is designed to raise awareness,
both locally and nationally, about the day-off charitable work of NFL
       players and coaches. "For
years, NFL players and coaches have been working extensively in their
communities on their day off," says NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.
"While many of us use our two-day weekend to relax, countless NFL
players and coaches use their one day off during the season to give back
to their communities. It’s time players received more credit for
       that." It
is so cool to be the only Aussie that has regularly reported on the NFL
