NFL week 12 tips contd! Raiders defeat the Broncos in a rippa of a Sunday
night game! Moose's comments with Week 12 Scores!"
        I
forgot. I gotta pick the Packers tonight over the Rams. I do think
the Rams are a better team then their record is showing. Amazing 2 weeks
in a row I have kicked butt in tipping I'm 12-3 at the moment.
        What
a rippa of a game it was last night as the Raiders defeated the Bronco's
by 1 in a very snowy Denver. A bad lost for the Bronco's. I watched NFL
all day Sunday and it was great. Lots more coming to NFL webWORLD all
this week including Moose's report and news direct from NFL Media.
        Moose's
comments with Week 12 Scores: New
       England 24, Baltimore 3Minnesota 27, Jacksonville 16
 Carolina 21, Tampa Bay 14
Pittsburgh 16, Washington 7 (The 'Deadskins get a break this week - Eli
       Manning!)
Philadelphia 27, New York Giants 6
Cinncinnati 58, Cleveland 48 (can you believe?, the second highest
       scoring game in
       League's 85 year history?)
 Miami 24, San Francisco 17
New York Jets 13, Arizona 3
 Buffalo 38, Seattle 9
Atlanta 24, New Orleans 21 (Mike Vick beats his 2nd cousin Brooks team.
       Will VA. ever be the
       same?)
Dallas 21, Chicago 7 (what happened to Jon Quinn since that NFL E Bowl
       win in '01?)
 Indianapolis 41, Detroit 9

Oakland 25, Denver 24 (Oh, the indignity! Madness Raidahs over Mykkie's

NFL week 12 tips contd! Super Bowl possibilities!" Myk Aussie
        After
several horrid weeks of tipping I picked 15 out of 16 in week 11. Week 12
       cont from Thursday.
        Pats
over Ravens. Chris Cowboy Corean has gone for the Ravens. Yes it could
be  close one but I gotta go with the reigning Super Bowl Champs. Eagles
over the Giants. I wonder how CDN Jesse Palmer the Bachelor is going, he
no doubt watched the recent series that concluded this week, wishing he
again had the chance at 25 hot Cwoa's. 3rd string QB what a horrid job.
Not playing must be tough. I covered Jesse's Bachelor series extensively
on here from a comedy aspect, read back to the summer months below.
        Steelers
over Redskins. Bengals over the Browns just. Vikings over
Jags. Panthers over Buc's but I'm not sure on this one. Chiefs
over Chargers in a Divisional game. Texans over Tits. Falcons
over Saints. Jets over Cardinals. Seahawks over Bills. Fish
over 49ers. And the game I am looking forward to the most is the Broncos
over the Raiders Sunday night in another Divisional game and Big
       rivals.
        In
Super Bowl possibilities I thinking it will be the NFC Eagles against the
AFC Pats, or the Colts or possibly the Broncos or Steelers or Jets. In the NFC
the Eagles could be challenged by the Vikings, Packers or Falcons. NFL

Colts to defeat the Lions. Bears at Cowboys? Well, well, well

       - COLTS RB EDGERRIN JAMES, BILLS S LAWYER MILLOY &STEELERS P CHRIS GARDOCKI NAMED AFC PLAYERS OF WEEK 11
 Running
back EDGERRIN JAMES of the Indianapolis Colts, safety LAWYER MILLOY of
the Buffalo Bills and punter CHRIS GARDOCKI of the Pittsburgh Steelers
are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week
for games played the 11th week of the 2004 season (November 21-22), the
       NFL announced today. OFFENSE:
RB EDGERRIN JAMES, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS Indianapolis’
James recorded an NFL season-high 204 rushing yards at Soldier Field to
help the Colts defeat the Bears 41-10.  James racked up his yards
and one touchdown on 23 carries for an 8.9-yard average and is the first
player to reach 200 rushing yards in a game this season.  James, who
now stands as the AFC’s top rusher with 1,081 yards, earned a first
down on 10 of his 23 attempts (43.5 percent) and rushed for five or more
yards on 14 of his carries.  The Bears entered the game ranked 13th
in the league in yards allowed per carry (3.9 yards) and since the
club’s first season in 1920 had allowed only one opposing player to
surpass 200 yards on the ground in Chicago – Pro Football Hall of Famer
EARL CAMPBELL (206) of the Houston Oilers on November 16, 1980.
Indianapolis stands at 7-3 and is in sole possession of first-place in
       the AFC South. In
his sixth season from Miami, this is James’ sixth career Player of the
Week Award and his second of the season (Week 2). DEFENSE:
S LAWYER MILLOY, BUFFALO BILLS Milloy
registered a career-high 3.0 sacks and nine total tackles in a 37-17 win
against St. Louis.  Milloy led a Buffalo defense that limited the
Rams to a season-low 35 rushing yards.  St. Louis entered the game
with the NFL’s sixth-ranked offense and was unable to score a
       second-half point.  Buffalo’s pass rush, with the 6-0, 190-pound
Milloy at the helm, accounted for six sacks and helped force three
interceptions. The St. Louis native is only the fourth Buffalo defensive
back since 1970 to register multiple sacks in one game. Milloy,
in his ninth season from Washington, now has three Player of the Week
honors to his credit.  This is his first as a member of the Bills.  SPECIAL
TEAMS: P CHRIS GARDOCKI, PITTSBURGH STEELERS In
a game of field position, Pittsburgh’s Gardocki was a key asset in
keeping the Bengals at bay in a 19-14 Steelers victory at Cincinnati.
Gardocki punted seven times, placing five of his kicks inside the
Bengals’ 20-yard line and three of them inside the 10.  Pittsburgh
nursed a 17-14 lead with 10:37 left in regulation, facing fourth down on
its own 23-yard line when the 14-year NFL veteran was called upon to give
Cincinnati a long field.  Gardocki delivered with a 50-yard boot and
no return, forcing the Bengals to take possession on their own 36.
The Steelers’ defense took care of matters from there as Cincinnati
would not cross its own 36 for the remainder of the game. This
is the first career Player of the Week Award for Gardocki, who currently
holds the NFL record for the most consecutive punts without one blocked
       (1,026). NFC
       - PANTHERS RB NICK GOINGS, SEAHAWKS S MICHAEL BOULWARE &PACKERS K RYAN LONGWELL NAMED NFC PLAYERS OF WEEK 11
 Running
back NICK GOINGS of the Carolina Panthers, safety MICHAEL BOULWARE of the
Seattle Seahawks and kicker RYAN LONGWELL of the Green Bay Packers are
the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for
games played the 11th week of the 2004 season (November 21-22), the NFL
       announced today. OFFENSE:
RB NICK GOINGS, CAROLINA PANTHERS Goings
helped the Panthers to their second consecutive victory, a 35-10 home-win
against the Arizona Cardinals. Goings rushed for a Week 11 NFC-high 121
yards on 22 carries, including a franchise-record- tying three touchdown
runs. His two-yard touchdown opened the scoring midway through the first
quarter and he followed that up later in the first with a 57-yard scoring
jaunt, the longest run of his career. The Dublin, Ohio native staked the
       Panthers to a 21-0 second-quarter advantage with a one-yard touchdown
run, as he averaged 5.5 yards per carry on the day. Goings
three-touchdown performance came against a Cardinals defense that entered
the game having allowed only four rushing touchdowns all season, tied for
the third-fewest in the NFL. He also added three receptions for 21 yards
       in the win. In
his fourth season from Pittsburgh, this is Goings’ first Player of the
       Week Award. DEFENSE:
S MICHAEL BOULWARE, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Boulware
produced a monumental play in the Seahawks 24-17 victory over the
visiting Miami Dolphins, lifting Seattle to a 6-4 record and a one-game
lead in the NFC West. With the score tied 17-17 late in the fourth
quarter, Miami faced a first and 10 at the Seattle 41, marching toward a
potential game-winning field goal, when the rookie intervened. Boulware
intercepted a pass and returned it 63 yards for a touchdown, giving the
Seahawks a 24-17 lead with 56 seconds remaining. Boulware, who also added
three tackles on the day, is tied for the NFL rookie lead with four
       interceptions. A
second-round draft choice from Florida State, this is Boulware’s first
Player of the Week Award. SPECIAL
TEAMS: K RYAN LONGWELL, GREEN BAY PACKERS Longwell
succeeded with the game on the line for Green Bay, as the Packers
       rebounded from a 13-3 fourth-quarter deficit en route to a 16-13 road-win
over the Houston Texans. Longwell, who connected on three of four field
goal attempts, capped the comeback with his game-winning 46-yarder as
time expired, helping the Packers remain in a first-place tie with the
Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North at 6-4. In addition to his
game-winner, Longwell was good from 23 and 39 yards, with his lone miscue
coming from 49 yards. He has also connected on 135 consecutive extra
points, tying him with CHRIS JACKE for the most in franchise history. In
his eighth season from California, this is Longwell’s fifth career
Player of the Week Award. The Bend, Oregon native was also named the NFC
Special Teams Player of the Month for October. It
is so cool to be the only Aussie that has regularly reported on the NFL

(November 14-15), the NFL announced today. OFFENSE:
QB PEYTON MANNING, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS The
Colts’ Manning threw for five touchdowns for the third time this season
with 320 yards on 18 of 27 passing (66.7 percent) against two
interceptions for a 115.7 passer rating in a convincing 49-14 win over
upstart AFC South rival Houston (4-5) in Indianapolis.  Manning has
now passed for five touchdowns three times this season, tying an NFL
record shared with Minnesota’s DAUNTE CULPEPPER, who also has three
such games on the year.  Manning has 31 touchdown passes through
nine games – the fewest games played to reach that mark in NFL history.
In his seventh year from Tennessee, he is on pace to surpass the
NFL record for most touchdown passes in a season (DAN MARINO, 48, 1984).
Manning’s arm accounted for the game’s first four touchdowns to place
the visitors on their heels, throwing two scoring strikes to both tight
end DALLAS CLARK and wide receiver BRANDON STOKLEY.  Receiver REGGIE
WAYNE’s TD catch marked the sixth game in the past eight that he has
snagged a scoring reception.  With the victory, Indianapolis (6-3)
remains tied with Jacksonville (6-3) atop the AFC South. This
is the second Player of the Week Award for Manning this season (Week 3)
and the ninth of his career. DEFENSE:
S TROY POLAMALU, PITTSBURGH STEELERS Pittsburgh’s
Polamalu helped extend the Steelers’ win streak to seven games with a
24-10 victory at Cleveland in the AFC’s oldest rivalry.  The
second-year safety from USC claimed four tackles and a pair of
interceptions, including one interception on the Steelers’ two-yard
       line to maintain a 14-3 lead.  The 5-10, 212-pounder played a
significant role in limiting the Browns’ offense to 228 total yards,
including only 68 on the ground, to advance Pittsburgh’s record to 8-1,
tied with New England for the AFC’s best mark. Cleveland was two-of-10
on third down conversion tries and ran only two plays inside the
Steelers’ 10-yard line on the day.  With the victory, Pittsburgh
head coach BILL COWHER is now 71-1-1 (.979) in his career when his
Steelers gain a lead of at least 14 points. This
is Polamalu’s first career Player of the Week distinction and marks the
third time a Steelers defender has been so honored in the past five
       weeks.  SPECIAL
TEAMS: QB-P KORDELL STEWART, BALTIMORE RAVENS In
a 20-17 overtime road victory for Baltimore against the New York Jets,
reserve quarterback KORDELL STEWART answered the call to handle punting
duties in a battle of field position.  Ravens punter DAVE ZASTUDIL
left the game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury, leaving
Stewart to fill the void.  In his first punting effort since his
days at John Ehret High School in New Orleans, the 10-year NFL veteran
from Colorado punted five times for a 35.4 average, including two punts
placed within the Jets’ 20-yard line.  Stewart’s final punt of
the day came in overtime, when he blasted a 42-yarder which was downed on
the Jets’ nine-yard line by starting linebacker and standout special
teamer ADALIUS THOMAS.  Baltimore’s defense forced New York into a
punt three plays later and the Ravens won the game on their ensuing
possession, thanks to a 42-yard field goal by MATT STOVER. This
is the second career Player of the Week Award for Stewart, who also was
honored in Week 14 of 2001 for his quarterback play with the Steelers. NFC
       PLAYERS OF
       WEEK 10 PACKERS
QB BRETT FAVRE, CARDINALS DE BERTRAND BERRY &LIONS PR EDDIE DRUMMOND NAMED NFC PLAYERS OF WEEK 10
 Quarterback
BRETT FAVRE of the Green Bay Packers, defensive end BERTRAND BERRY of the
Arizona Cardinals and punt returner EDDIE DRUMMOND of the Detroit Lions
are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week
for games played the 10th week of the 2004 season (November 14-15), the
       NFL announced today. OFFENSE:
QB BRETT FAVRE, GREEN BAY PACKERS Favre
led the Packers to a thrilling 34-31 win over the NFC North rival
Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field, improving Green Bay to 5-4 and
earning a tie for first place with Minnesota (5-4). Favre completed 20 of
29 attempts for 236 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions, posting
a 133.0 passer rating. After the Vikings rebounded from a 31-17
fourth-quarter deficit to tie the score with 1:20 remaining, Favre led
the Packers 39 yards in five plays, setting up kicker RYAN LONGWELL’s
33-yard game-winning field goal as time expired. The four-touchdown
performance was the 18th of his career, breaking a tie with JOHNNY UNITAS
       (17) for the second-most in NFL history, trailing only DAN MARINO (21).
Playing in his 200th consecutive game, Favre led the team to points on
four of its first five possessions, helping Green Bay build a 24-10
       halftime advantage. In
his 14th season from Southern Mississippi, this is Favre’s ninth Player
       of the Week Award. DEFENSE:
DE BERTRAND BERRY, ARIZONA CARDINALS Berry
was a key factor in the Cardinals’ third consecutive home victory, a
17-14 triumph over the New York Giants. He led all Arizona defensive
linemen with seven tackles and posted a career-high 4.0 sacks, the
second-highest total in franchise history. The former Denver Broncos’
lineman who joined the club as a free agent during the offseason totaled
3.0 second-half sacks as the Cardinals posted a shutout over the final
two quarters to ensure the victory. Berry’s 4.0-sack effort was the
first by an Arizona player since defensive end CURTIS GREER had 4.5 on
December 18, 1983 in a 31-7 win against Philadelphia. In
his seventh season from Notre Dame, this is Berry’s first Player of the
       Week Award. SPECIAL
TEAMS: PR EDDIE DRUMMOND, DETROIT LIONS Drummond
turned in a historic performance for the Lions, becoming the first player
in NFL history with two fourth-quarter punt return touchdowns. With
Detroit trailing 17-0 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Drummond’s 55-yard
scoring dash put the Lions on the scoreboard with 13:07 remaining. Then
after a field goal drew them to within 17-10, Drummond’s thrilling
83-yard touchdown return with 46 seconds left forced overtime. The
Jaguars ultimately prevailing 23-17. Drummond, who leads the NFL with a
15.2-yard punt return average, became the 11th player ever to have two
punt return touchdowns in a single game. His 199 punt return yards are a
franchise record and the third-most all-time. In
his third season from Penn State, this is Drummond’s first Player of
the Week Award. Drummond was named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of
       the Month in September. It
is so cool to be the only Aussie that has regularly reported on the NFL
for the past 5 years. Yep that's me, I have had NFL media passes at Super
Bowl's, Pro Bowl's and other NFL games. Thus I am allowed into the NFL
Media section and allowed to post their great reports on here. Much more
coming over the coming weeks." Myk Aussie
